A (belated) Happy New Year..
January 12th, 2012It’s almost half way through January 2012, but it’s never too late to wish all of our friends, family, clients, suppliers and collaborators a very happy and healthy new year. After some intensive R&R over the Christmas period we are back in the studio and the year is off to a flying start.
2011 was another wonderful year for everyone here with an exciting mix of projects from mobile phones to medical devices (not to mention a frozen yoghurt brand/store which snuck in at the last minute). Our team has continued to grow along with the variety of clients and project genres on our books. We are excited about the year ahead for many reasons, some of which we will announce in the coming months.
Shown above is our laser-cut 2011 Christmas card – a result of several weeks laser cutting everything we could get our hands on.. Several of the responses from this exercise were totally unexpected and we had to post them too. You can see a larger gallery of the responses here.
We recognise that our activity on the Journal has been slow over the past few months, a direct consequence of deep involvement in creative project work. For this reason we have created a less formal feed on tumblr: designbynotion.tumblr.com, on which we will be posting much more frequent inspiration, work in progress, studio snaps and other items of interest.
