Developing the SHARD Lamp Series
February 4th, 2010Today we’re very excited to publish the SHARD lamps online. The collection features two cast ceramic pieces, one freestanding and one pendant light.
The collection is a notion project, self initiated in mid 2009, closely following our work on the White House in Translation. The fractal/faceted forms of each piece are a derivation of the randomised forms generated by 3D software during the White House work. They have been under development for several months, moving from sketchbook to card model, from hard models to cast ceramic pieces.

We’re currently seeking a production partner to manufacture the lamp series. We are also investigating the potential of creating a short run of unique pieces for a specific environment/space. If you would like to discuss either of these approaches please feel free to give us a call or email.
